User-friendly interface

Traditional software

Everyone software vendor claims to have a user-friendly interface. Most software falls into one of two categories:

  1. Software that has an easy-to-understand interface often lacks robust features. It's easy-to-understand because it doesn't do much!
  2. Software that has robust and powerful features is often difficult to use. The power is there...but no one knows how to access it.

Summit-Edge

Summit-Edge offers very powerful features...but still retains a user-friendly interface. The power behind the system is very accessible. Following are some of the key elements of the user-friendly design:

  • Easy access to menu items...through a unique graphical "flow-chart" interface.
  • Modules are organized around staff positions...so that each staff member can more easily manage his workload. For instance, here are the first 5 modules:
    • "Sell" - Marketing person
    • "Admitting" - The admission person
    • "Activities" - The person that enters sessions and payments
    • "Bill" - The billing specialist
    • "Collect" - The collection person
    • "Payout" - The office manager
  • Work flows from one module to another.
  • Most reports can be generated by just clicking one or two buttons.
