User-friendly
interface
Traditional software
Everyone software vendor claims to have a user-friendly interface.
Most software falls into one of two categories:
- Software that has an easy-to-understand interface often lacks
robust features. It's easy-to-understand because it doesn't do
much!
- Software that has robust and powerful features is often difficult
to use. The power is there...but no one knows how to access it.
Summit-Edge
Summit-Edge offers very powerful features...but still retains a
user-friendly interface. The power behind the system is very accessible.
Following are some of the key elements of the user-friendly design:
- Easy access to menu items...through a unique graphical "flow-chart"
interface.
- Modules are organized around staff positions...so that each
staff member can more easily manage his workload. For instance,
here are the first 5 modules:
- "Sell" - Marketing person
- "Admitting" - The admission person
- "Activities" - The person that enters sessions
and payments
- "Bill" - The billing specialist
- "Collect" - The collection person
- "Payout" - The office manager
- Work flows from one module to another.
- Most reports can be generated by just clicking one or two buttons.
