Sharing of family
data
Traditional software
Family members share a lot of data...addresses, insurance policies,
responsible parties, and so on. Typically, though, this information
must be re-entered for each family member. There are two problems
with this:
1) It takes additional time to re-enter all this information for
each family member. Furthermore, if a change has to be made...and
changes are common...it must be made in each record...which can
be tedious.
2) The far more serious problem, though, is the confusion all this
creates. Let's say you discover a problem in the insurance group#.
You fix it for one family member...but, forget to make the change
for the other family members. The result is more denied claims...more
delays...more questions. Redundant data always creates confusion...that
leads to mistakes and errors.
Summit-Edge
Only once do you enter the family's address...the family's insurance
policy and the family's responsible party. When you enter a family
member's data, you just "point" to the common family record.
