Standard services

Standard services have fees associated with them. For instance, "Intake-entry services" are billed at a contracted fee per intake.

Intake-entry services: The capturing, entering and maintenance of intake data, needed for insurance processing and family collections.

Transaction-entry services: The capturing of procedure charges, family payments...and miscellaneous charges and credits...needed for insurance processing and family collections.

Family collection services: The preparation, review and mailing of client statements...and for the answering of billing questions rom responsible parties.

Insurance-setup: The gathering, entering and maintenance of insurance policy information. It is for dealing with lost or illegible insurance cards, for figuring out what policies must be billed first, for dealing with non-covered issues. In a nutshell, it is for figuring out how to tap into the insurance money.

Insurance-collection: The billing and collecting of insurance money. It is for sending out claims, re-submitting, challenging underpayments, and posting amounts received.

On-site data access: The system for accessing the data entered and maintained by Summit-Edge. You can print a local client statement...view management reports, and so on. You will receive a CD every week.

Optional services

The "Optional services" are billed on an hourly-rate basis.

Special collection services: This is for extraordinary collection work...for filing appeals with insurance companies...for making telephone calls to families to collect overdue balances.
